WWW Security

We have installed a secure WWW server to deal with payment details for the CD-ROM data release. The data in your form is sent using https and is encrypted.

When you submit WWW the form, you will get a warning notice which informs you that although the site uses encryption to protect exchanged data, the site certificate is self-signed rather than signed by a recognised authentication service. This is not a problem, but if it worries you, then you may send your order by fax or ordinary mail.

As required by ANU regulations, credit card data held on disk is encrypted.
