Toolbars

Toolbars is a new feature added in VOPlot 1.5. Toolbars contain set of buttons/actions of some basic functionalities.

By default, 4 basic toolbars are provided that are created from 4 default categories of buttons/actions. These categories and buttons/actions residing under them are:

  1. Plots

    1. Projection
    2. Surface
  2. Plot Functionality

    1. Plot Properties
    2. Full Data Range
    3. Clear Plot
    4. Clear Selected Points
    5. Selected New Plot (Selected points in New Plot)
    6. Synch Plot
  3. PlotPanel Functions

    1. Create PlotPanel
    2. Glue Plot
    3. Unglue Plot
    4. Grid Plot (Tile Plot)
    5. Cascade PlotPanels
  4. VOTable Functions

    1. Data in Table Format
    2. Statistics
    3. Filter
    4. Create New Column
Toolbars that implement these categorized actions are named as Plots Toolbar, Plot Functionality Toolbar, PlotPanel Functions Toolbar and VOTable Functions Toolbar respectively.

User can create a custom toolbar with any of the above listed buttons/actions irrespective of its category by clicking on ``New Toolbar'' submenu of ``View'' -> ``Toolbars'' menu. User can also change order of buttons/actions of a particular toolbar by clicking on its ``Customize'' button.

Clicking on ``Customize'' button opens dialog shown in figure 22 given below.

User can show/hide default as well as user-defined toolbars from the ``Hide Toolbar'' button or checking/unchecking toolbar checkboxes given in ``View'' -> ``Toolbars'' menu.

User can delete only user-defined toolbars.
